Chat GPT (and the wider world of AI) is all over the media and rightly so. It is going to change the future of how we do everything. But what does AI actually mean for a small to medium sized business in New Zealand just trying to get the job done?
For most businesses, especially those who are starting up or looking to grow, time is the challenge. How can we get more done with less time. Could ChatGPT (or the wider AI offering) help with this?
There are a few questions I am looking to answer to start with.
Q. How can ChatGPT actually help businesses now with their marketing?
There seems to be alot of gimmicky noise, what actually works now and is going to save time for the SME business owner. Is this a useful tool to invest in while you are making critical decisions on how to keep your business moving?
Q. How do you get the best outputs from ChatGPT?
How do you 'brief' or work with the tool to get good work? What are the tips to doing this and how can we set up a marketing strategy that supports this - and ensures best 'bang for buck'.
Q. What are the risks?
This starts to get scary - what happens with your data and your IP? Who owns the work? How can we tighten up our processes so we don't get ourselves in trouble. What could the future hold in this space, and what do we need to prepare for?
With the future of AI there seems to be a significant opportunity for NZ businesses and in how they 'do' marketing. I'm personally focused on upskilling in this space to understand more about how Chat GPT can help us transform the impact of our marketing, more to come...
